The one with the Splurging
Yesterday, I received some disturbing news.. 2 pharmacists came to my office, and conducted a free health test, which includes blood pressure, kidney, liver and diabetic tests.
Overall, the result came out on the average side except for my blood pressure, a bit on the high side which was at 130/65. The ideal pressure for me (under 30 years of age) would be 120/85 ( i have no idea what the figures represent). Anyway, I would expect to be fit like a bull, since I have been workign out the gym for at least 4-5 times a week, but apparently that wasn't the case.. It must be that work is taking it's toll on me, cause I have never had such probelms before..
*edit*
I figured that it can't be that everyone in my office is having some form of illness, therefore, they bastards must be con men.
So guess what, today, I decided to destress and give myself a treat. I have been working out way too hard physically and mentally.. It wasn't planned it at all.. I was supposed to meet my uncle at Subang Parade after work, near the Coffee Bean entrance, and I was already 20 minutes late as I was rushing to finish some work.. I got there searching for him but he was no where to be found...
So... I walked towards a booth selling handphones, curious about the K750i.. I was browsing through the phones, and as I looked up, the salesmen gave me this grin.. He then said, hey, I know you, we used to go to the same school.. It took me a good 5 seconds before I could recognise him, and in my heart, I instantly thought, hey, I dont remember you speaking in english before... We chatted a bit, and I asked him about the K750i .
me: Since we come from the same school, give me good price lah..
Sean: Can can, no problem.
me: Sure or not..
Sean: okay lah... RM1510, credit card price...
*gasp*
last weekend, I enquired on the phone, and the price I got was RM1780, cash. shits, this is too good to be true.. Without hesitating, or even trying to bargain further, I whipped out my credit card and the damage was done.
The whole transaction lasted merely 10 minutes. Talk about reckless splurging.
I found my uncle sitting inside Coffee Bean, sipping on this Latte while reading The Star..
*The splurging doesn't end here. To be continued*
So tonight, I am just gonna be a good boy and stay home....
